Majlis Daerah Limbang Secretary’s Message
As we approach the final days of Year 2008, Majlis Daerah Limbang (MDL) looks back at the year on its achievements and transformation.
The 8th of August 2008 (08.08.08) is especially memorable as Majlis Daerah Limbang was awarded with an ISO Certificate 9001:2000 on having successfully implemented and maintained a QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM in the areas of :
MDL’s next milestone is to achieve the certification of 5S. The 5-S practice is a technique used to establish and maintain quality environment in an organisation.
The outlook for MDL in Year 2009 is as challenging as the year before as human resources experience a transformation. As the Secretary of MDL, I would like to take this opportunity to wish all those who have served the council over the years all the best and good luck in all their future undertakings.
I would also like extend a warm welcome to the new staff joining us, who will strive hard to ascertain that MDL continues to produce high quality services in order to better serve the public in general.
Public participation is most welcomed for us at MDL to ensure that improvement is made in any aspects. Together we can transform our current living environment for the better in terms of hygiene and atmosphere . Let us make Limbang and Sarawak a better place to live in!
